Gankpo Wallet is your digital identity wallet, compatible with the international ISO 18013-5 standard that governs mobile driver's licenses and mobile identities. Your phone becomes the secure repository of your identity documents, protected bysovereign Curve25519 cryptography and unlocked by your biometrics. On modern Android, the key ishardware-backed via the TEE Keystore when the phone supports it; on iOS, it is protected in sovereign software bydoctrinal choice.

Mobile identities and standards

Gankpo identity journeys are designed to present attributes in a way that is understandable and limited to the need. ISO/IEC 18013-5:2021 is among the references considered for mobile documents.

• Explicit consent. You see the request and requesting service before deciding.
• Minimisation. The journey aims to present only the required attributes.
• Readable context. Issuer, verifier and assurance level remain distinct.

Gankpo does not claim ISO 18013-5 certification or universal interoperability without corresponding official evidence.

What is a .gkp document?

A .gkp file is a cryptographically sealed document. It carries:

• the document content (text, PDF, image, form);
• the issuer's signature;
• a timestamp;
• a fingerprint that guarantees no character has been altered after signing.

If the document has been modified after signing, Gankpo Reader detects it and warns you.

How do you verify a document?

What is a Gankpo QR code?

If you received a credential as a QR code starting withGKP1:, it is a Gankpo credential verifiable offline. An authorised officer can scan it with Gankpo Reader to confirm its validity, without needing to connect the reader to the Internet.

Your data is yours

Gankpo Wallet and Gankpo Reader transmit no data to a remote server during verification. Documents and credentials stay on your device.
