About Gankpo and the GKP format
Gankpo is a suite of applications dedicated to trust in digital files in the age of artificial intelligence. It is developed by PERO GROUPE SARL, a digital services company based in Benin and also present in France.
Gankpo and the open format GKP answer a global challenge: in a world where AI allows generating, modifying, and falsifying all types of files (images, videos, audio, documents, archives...), how can we continue to trust what we receive, sign, or share?
Our answer is to propose a proof infrastructure: from any type of file, Gankpo creates a certified, sealed, and timestamped electronic original in .gkp format, whose authenticity can be verified, even offline.
Gankpo was born in Africa, but designed from the start to be used everywhere in the world: administrations, jurisdictions, banques, companies, media, universities, citizens... Wherever trust in the digital file becomes a critical issue, Gankpo and GKP aim to provide a robust, open, and interoperable technical response.
